John Wick 2 Summary
In "John Wick: Chapter 2," retired hitman John Wick (played by Keanu Reeves) is pulled back into the world of assassins when he is called upon to fulfill a blood oath he made to Italian crime lord Santino D'Antonio (played by Riccardo Scamarcio).
John reluctantly accepts the job, but after completing it, he is betrayed by D'Antonio, who puts a $7 million bounty on his head. John must fight off waves of assassins who come after him, including his former colleague Cassian (played by Common) and a mute female killer named Ares (played by Ruby Rose).
As John tries to evade his pursuers, he seeks help from a weapons dealer named Bowery King (played by Laurence Fishburne) and a former associate named Winston (played by Ian McShane), who runs the Continental Hotel, a neutral ground for assassins.
Eventually, John confronts D'Antonio and kills him, but this only makes things worse for him as the High Table, a council of powerful crime bosses, issues a global contract on his life. The movie ends with John being on the run and preparing for the inevitable war that will come his way.
